MFM2 is an incredibly powerful 4 delay line effect processor with flexible
circuitry, many modulation sources, automation for almost all parameters and
the usability and quality of sound that you have grown accustomed to from
u-he software.
The most important parameters after opening MFM2 are the feedback knob that
adjusts the feedback into the delay lines and the dry/wet knobs that let you
set the level of the dry and the wet signal independently.
Here are some basic applications:
# ping pong delay (no tap in the center!)
# ducking delay
# chorus
# reverbs & ambiences
# panning delays
# frequency shifted delays
# iteratively degrading & distorting delays
# filtered delays
# loops
# all sorts of compressed delays
# keyboard-controlled comb filter effects
